Why Ashley Hester?

I am a Director of Operations with extensive experience in operating RIA, Broker Dealer, Hedge Funds and Family Offices. I have over twenty years of experience in the back-office investment management of finance, accounting, legal and compliance. In addition, I have a widespread knowledge of audits, regulatory and contract management. I feel that my skills, in addition to my investor relations experience with high net worth, Endowment and Institutional investors, would be an asset to your company.

My greatest asset is the ability to master a role that there is no blueprint for as I have always been tasked with the challenge of building out a department. These skills have been fine-tuned as I have been alongside the spearheading of investment firms or tapped with the specific need of forming the framework for wealth management firms to reach their next goals. This all hands-on deck, can-do attitude and the vast experience gained in the process has led to my success within Operations. 

I am currently employed as a Director of Operations for a dually registered RIA/Broker Dealer firm in Raleigh, NC. Prior to my current role, I worked within Client Onboarding at Credit Suisse as a VP of AML. Prior to that opportunity, I was a Director of Operations for a family office hedge fund with operations split between NYC and Durham, NC. I started my career as the Operations Manager for several multi-family office hedge funds headquartered in Seattle, WA and Durham, NC.
